The products include IGI School Fees Insurance Scheme (SFIS); IGI Mortgage Care Policy (MoreCare); IGI Estate Fire Insurance Scheme (EFIS); IGI LeaseCare Policy and IGI Estate Comprehensive Insurance Scheme (ECIS). Others are IGI Personal and Annuity Plus Plan (PPA), IGI Integrated Benefits Plan (IBP) and IGI Dividend Plus Plan (DPP).

IGI’s Enugu Branch Manager, Mr. Tony Okeume, said: “These products are customised to meet the dynamic needs of our existing policy holders and prospective customers,” adding, “We are at the Enugu International Trade Fair to bring these products closer to the insuring public in the Eastern zone of Nigeria.”

He explained that the company’s insurance policies have flexible management and that customers could modify existing policies and enjoy seamless access to various insurance products as well as make claims online.

“We have dedicated telephone lines for 24-hour customer care service as well as innovative e-payment solutions for travel health insurance,” Okeume said, stressing, “Our online insurance services are delivered in real time at the click of a computer mouse.”

He said that plans are underway to open more branches in the Eastern Zone to make IGI’s quality insurance services more readily available to the people in the area.

Customers and visitors at the IGI stand at the Fair enjoyed e-payment travel health insurance service alongside other benefits including business advisory on insurance cover for oil and energy, marine and aviation and life assurance, among others.

The Enugu International Trade Fair, which opened on Friday, March 27, 2009 will end on Monday, April 6.
