In the months ahead, IGI will become more IT-driven and fully automated, following a substantial investment in Information and Communication Technology.  We are already in the process of procuring and installing an internationally renowned, time-tested, off-the-shelf parameter-driven, modular Integrated Insurance Package to take care of both Life and Non-Life/general insurance Businesses of IGI. This package will be customized fully for the operations of IGI.  Data and history of transactions from existing array of software will be uploaded into the application at take-on, making the database customer centric. The plan is also to make sure that our services to customers are not affected in any negative way during the upgrade.
