School Fess Insurance

This is an insurance scheme which ensures the continuity of a child's education in the event of death or permanent disability of the parent/guardian caused b accident or critical illness. It ensures completion of nursery, primary, secondary or tertiary education as the parent or guardian may elect.

The policy assists school authorities and Parent-Teachers Associations (PTAS) to manage the financial aspect of an orphans' education.

Features of SFIS

• It provides against financial consequences of death, disability or critical illness which may completely jeopardize children's education.
• It pays school fees directly to the school.
• The premium which is inexpensive is payable along with school fees termly or annually.
• It automatically covers future increases in school fees.
• The scheme is available for parents and guardians up to age 60.
  
  The policy can be arranged by either of the child's parents. Where both parents are on the scheme (jointly insured), the benefit is payable on first death or permanent disability.
